Renu Robotics, a technology company based in San Antonio, Texas (USA), specializes in autonomous mobile robots for vegetation management in solar and energy facilities. Their flagship product, the Renubot – Generation 3, is a fully electric mowing robot designed to cut grass beneath solar panels on large solar farms. By combining AI, RTK GPS, lidar sensors, and machine learning, it can map terrain, optimize energy use, and operate completely autonomously. The Recharge Pod system enables rapid charging and over-the-air software updates, while Mission Control provides continuous monitoring and control of the robots via mobile devices.

Our collaboration with Renu Robotics has led to the integration of the motor controller from siliXcon, delivering precise power management, high reliability, and efficient operation even in challenging terrain.
